Recruitment Consultant

JOB OBJECTIVE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and source candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events, to build a pipeline of potential candidates for client vacancies.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate their skills, qualifications, experience, and suitability for specific job roles, ensuring alignment with client requirements and job specifications.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation, feedback collection, and offer negotiation, to facilitate successful placements and positive candidate experiences.
  • Manage job postings, candidate databases (CRM) to track recruitment activities, monitor candidate progress, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal processes.
  • Headhunting specific candidates for high-end job roles, such as senior management positions
  • Holding open days/job fairs for clients where interested job-seekers can find out about the company and register their interest.
  • Negotiate terms of business, service agreements, and recruitment fees with clients, ensuring clear understanding of expectations, deliverables, and timelines while maximising revenue and profitability for the recruitment agency.
  • Managing the process through recruitment, selection, right to work to offer stage, placement and beyond
  • Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities

Skills requirement & Salary information

  • Level 3 Recruitment Consultant - CPD Certified Diploma or equivalent
  • Educated to at least GCSE-level and have good numeracy and literacy skills. 
  • Minimum work experience of 3 years.
  • Right to Work in the UK, Security Screening, Means of Travel
  • Adept at managing multiple client accounts with a focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency in utilising recruitment software and social media platforms to source candidates and market services.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail is paramount, ensuring accurate maintenance of candidate databases and documentation.
  • Adaptability and flexibility are essential traits, allowing for responsive adjustment to changing recruitment demands.
  • Salary: £24,000 pa, 33 Days Annual Leave, Pension, Training, Commission upon successful completion of 6 months’ probationary period.
